There’s nothing better than seeing a big, mature elephant in the bush. This one is maybe thirty-five years old and is carrying some heavy ivory. He’s been sitting under the shade happily grazing, but has been slightly disturbed by us. So there’s a little bit of attitude here and that makes for a great painting.
