This piece is part of a series called the Captives. You would expect this wild animal to be lying in some grassy savannah, but instead I have deliberately placed it on a man-made structure. Whether this animal is in an enclosure and being looked after or whether it is in the wild and has taken advantage of a man-made structure, I want to prompt the consideration of the wild animal and human connection.
