Elephants are always inspiring animals for me to paint. Whether they are big bull elephants that are creating havoc or standing their ground with their heads up or female elephants with their calves. These two, obviously a mother and her calf are just strolling together along the banks of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. It’s a very peaceful image for me. The area, the water, the mountains and the elephants all make the magic.
