This piece celebrates the reintroduction of the desert lion back into Namibia. These particular lions were actually bred by a friend of mine, Howard Hebbard.
It was one of those paintings that just clicked from the start. Sometimes, from the moment you start sketching, you just know it’s going to work. This painting was sold on the opening night before the actual official opening. Since then, it has always been a favourite for many people.
