Truce

The action stops around midday in Etosha as the sun burns down fiercely on all its inhabitants. A kind of truce or white flag goes up – the cessation of hostilities so to speak for the duration. Although aware of their eternal enemy, the zebra stand calmly and in full view of the lion with the knowledge that there is no danger at this time.
