Again, these were the lions who were reintroduced to Namibia. For me, the aspect of reintroducing animals back into an area where they should be is great and is always a success story. Here we have a female with two cubs, who are flourishing. The lioness is a typical Kalahari lioness, a powerful, protective animal. I love the light that comes across the desert at around four or five o’clock in the afternoon.
