You can see and feel this little cub’s peace and total confidence in its mother to protect it. A lioness with cubs can be a formidable enemy. Get too close and she will explode with extreme aggression in a split second. I like the protective feel of this scene and the attitude of the little cub. You can’t see the female’s face, but you can sense her alertness and power. I like that combination of peace and power.
