Animals, like humans, mimic each other very often. You’ll get two humans, one will fold his arms quickly whilst chatting and the other will subconsciously and automatically do the same thing. These cheetahs are lying together in the same way, popping their heads up at the same time and looking in the same direction. It was this mirror effect that interested me as they relax and survey the veld below.
